The work

A long-form bas-relief landscape where mushrooms, trees, water, carved forms and hidden life occupy one continuous terrain. The daylight composition is only the first state; ultraviolet light reveals a second ecosystem, followed by a quieter phosphorescent afterimage.

Light and surface

The work is designed in three distinct passes. Daylight establishes natural depth and atmosphere. UV activates hidden colour, pathways and organisms. Darkness leaves selected forms suspended in glow.
